The 24th Annual Dorset Snowball is taking place February 14th and 15th, 2014

Enjoy plenty of outdoor and indoor activities with your whole family.

This is a proud event for the locals, several community members in and around Dorset spend the entire week leading up to Snowball producing amazing snow sculptures right in their own backyards for all to see.

All About the Dorset Snowball

Snowball was originated through the volunteer Committee for the Dorset Recreation Centre back in 1991 as a community event and fundraiser for the Rec Centre.

Snowball takes place on the 3rd weekend of February every year and has grown from an event that used to be only attended by locals to a family event that is now enjoyed by tourists from all over Ontario.

The principal focus of Snowball is to offer you affordable family oriented entertainment, to make Dorset a "destination" and to bring the community together for a day filled with winter activities and fun in the snow.
